Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the Service:

• Files you upload. Images or files of bills, receipts, and invoices you submit for scanning.
• Extracted data. The text and values our AI extracts from those files (for example vendor, date, amounts, and line items).
• Payment information. When you pay, the transaction is processed by Razorpay. We receive a confirmation and limited details such as a payment ID, but we do not collect or store your full card, UPI, or bank details — those go directly to Razorpay.
• Contact information. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message.
• Technical data. Standard server and device information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for security and to operate the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To scan your uploaded files and generate your Excel export.
• To process payments and deliver the download you paid for.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How your files are processed

To extract data, your uploaded files are sent to our AI processing provider, Anthropic (the Claude API), which processes them to return structured data. Your files and extracted data are used to fulfil your request and are not sold, nor used by us to build advertising profiles.

We do not maintain a long-term database of your bills. Uploaded files and extracted data are processed transiently to produce your result, and that result is held in your own browser session so you can preview and download it. Closing or clearing your browser removes that local copy.

4. Service providers we share data with

We rely on a small number of trusted providers, strictly to operate the Service:

• Anthropic — AI processing of uploaded files, subject to Anthropic’s terms and privacy practices.
• Razorpay — payment processing, subject to Razorpay’s terms and privacy policy.
• Our hosting provider — to serve the website and run the application.

We share data with these providers only as needed to deliver the Service, and we may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data retention

Because we process files transiently, we do not retain your uploaded bills or extracted data on our servers after your request is fulfilled, other than short-term, automatically generated logs kept for security. Payment-related records may be retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.

6. International processing

Some of our providers, including our AI provider, may process data on servers located outside India. By using the Service, you consent to such processing in accordance with this Policy.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at odinphoenix882@gmail.com.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use essential browser storage (such as sessionStorage) to operate core features — for example, to hold your scan results and to remember that you have paid during your session. We do not use advertising trackers.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
